Jaisri Lambert

I began studying and teaching natural therapies in 1983 and came to Ayurveda in 1986, gradually growing in knowledge and experience, while serving and learning mainly in the US and Canada. She received the degree of Ayurveda Doctor in 2017 from the National Ayurveda Medical Association.

Jaisri has developed specialized mastery under her mentor, Dr. Vasant Lad’s, loving guidance since 1988 to the present, beginning with a focussed 12-year apprenticeship, developing skills in Nadi Pariksha (Pulse Assessment), Turiya Therapy (applied Marma Chikitsa for resolving psycho-spiritual trauma), Panchakarma (Cleansing & Rejuvenation Science), Women’s Health, ‘Classroom Teaching Examples’ (Guru Kula tradition) and now is developing training for Ayurveda Elder Care Aides in Surrey, BC. She also hosts a twice-yearly Ayurveda mentorship online program for new practitioners and senior students.

Dr. Lambert was a founding member of the National Ayurveda Medical Association in the US in the 1990s, founder of Ayurveda Seminars & Consulting in 2004, and the Share Ayurveda Conference in 2018 and 2022 at the University of British Columbia.

In 2017, she created the Canada Ayurveda Research and Education Foundation ([http://]www.carefoundation.net ), at age 70, and has been developing programs in Ayurveda Elder Home Care, classification of local indigenous medicinal plants, Multiple Sclerosis & Ayurveda and a Portal for Ayurveda Research Worldwide."
